this weeks i heart faces challenge is "kisses". i immediately thought of this sweet shot of my two sweethearts! not much has changed since then {except they are both a bit bigger!}, ava still l.o.v.e.s. smoochin' on her baby brother! xo,

today we have a valentine's tea part next door at nanny o's house with maddy, sydney, jewelia, & kamrynn! then off to grams for the big super bowl! should be a fun day! {glad i fought off that nasty migraine that decided to surface yesterday. boo!}

grams: excuse me? {like, you have that backwards, girlie!}

ava: yes, excuse you.

& then she proceeded to eat a cheeto. ha!

sparkly pearly whites

ava made her second trip to the dentist today and i knew they were going to actually try and clean her teeth...i wasn't too sure how she was going to do...she is the typical two year old and everything is very moment to moment with her.
we go to the most fabulous pediatric dentist and half of their waiting room is full of toys! ava loves it, i think she could play there all day!

then the tricky thing is getting her to go back to the rooms when they call her name {you know, without a scene!}
she made it and got to put on these fabulous tiger glasses to keep the bright light out of her eyes! she thinks she's pretty cool.

she did so great and didn't have a meltdown until we had to leave. she tried to sneak back into the waiting room to play some more. {i actually would have taken her, but bo was home with hollis, so i knew i had to get back so he could get ready for work.} so yeah, we had the whole toddler meltdown right there while i was paying...on the way to the car...getting into the car...

she did so great though, that i didn't even care. like i said, she's a two year old & i'm so glad these moments of frustration for her came at the end of the visit instead of during!

{& great news! dr. strole says her teeth look fabulous and that we are doing a great job brushing! yay! of course, she loves brushing her teeth...she even brushes them while she sits on the potty throughout the day! i'm sure the day will come when i have to fight with her about brushing her teeth, so i'm lovin' every second of this!}

stock show fun...

we spent the afternoon at the stock show yesterday. unfortuantely they were cleaning out the barns between show animals so most were empty. boooo. the horse barn was full, so ava loved that...horses are her favorite anyway. and she did have fun "driving" the tractors and other big machines in the exhibit hall, though! she even got her first john deer matchobox style tractor!

she loves pushing the stroller... our big girl...she's very convincing up on those machines...like she knows exactly what she is doing!

the baby animal section was open and ava was happy about that! her favorite spot is the chicks..she likes sticking her hands through the fence and letting those little guys just peck her little fingers...she can be a strange little thing sometimes! she thinks it's hilarious and just about dies laughing!

& this time she was actually holding her hand because it must not have felt very good...shocker!

it was so much fun. the rides didn't open until four, so we are going to have to take her back to ride them another day...after 3 hours, we were ready to go!
