20 questions....

saw this on a blog i love to read...thought i would fill it out, too....

1. what is your favorite thing to snack on while you are blogging....
don't have a favorite snack...but i always have to have something to drink. diet coke, water...

2. what is one thing you wouldn't live without?
family.

3. Beach, mountains, or farm...where would you live if you had the choice?
beach, beach, beach.....

4. what's your least favorite chore/household duty?
dishes...i loathe dishes! we live in a really old house with no dishwasher and my husband refuses to put one in because we would lose so much cabinet space in our tiny kitchen.

5. who do people say you remind them of?
some people in my family say sandra bullock {obviously not looks, i think more mannerisms}
this is interesting because my husband can't stand sandra bullock {she reminds him of an "annoying" girl he worked with, he never wants to see movies with her in them...so...not sure how true that is...
in my earlier 20's, i had a lot of poeple tell me claire danes & posh spice {aka victoria beckam}....{i think those were just because of the short haircut i rocked & the old early twenties physique!}

6. prefer parties & socializing or staying home with the fam?
i love getting together with friends and family to visit and hang out. my favorite days are when we are all at the lake boating, sitting on the dock, fishing, eating, just spending time together and having a ball. but, most of the time we tend to be homebodies. it can be a bit difficult sometimes with bo working and me staying home. i am home so much that when he is off work i want to go out. but he works so much that when he is off work he wants to lounge around the house...i can't blame him. we compromise and always work it out, though :)

7. what's your all time favorite movie?
the notebook & braveheart....love 'em both.

8. do you sleep in your make up? or remove it every night, like a good girl?
take it off....if i ever get a chance to put it on...

9. do you have a hidden talent or a deep desire to learn something that you haven't had time to learn? what is it?
i love to sing and have always wanted to learn to play the guitar. i had a guitar once {it's a long story to what happened to it}, but never learned how to play... i thought i could teach myself. i should have taken lessons. i have visions of playing guitar and singing songs to my children someday.

10. what's one strange thing you're really good at?
typing....{not sure if that's strange or not?} i am a super fast typer. i took typing in high school and it has served me well.

11. what first attracted you to your spouse?
well....it was probobly just "him"...his swagger...his eyes...the way i felt when i was around him {butterflies}. i knew he was going to be someone special in my life the first time i laid eyes on him. honest!

12. what is something you love to smell?
the smell right before it's gonna rain, lemongrass, & freshly bathed babies.
lemongrass transports me back to jamaica where bo and i got married. they had this fantastic lemongrass lotion at the hotel and i used it very sparingly so every once in a while i could

put it on, close my eyes,

and

remember.

i think i ran out around our two year anniversary...i should call beaches and see if i could get some more? aren't senses amazing?!

13. tell something about you that irritates people?
i talk...a lot. i guess that could be irritating.

14. when you have extra money, what is the first thing you think of to do with it?
save it. when we get our tax return every year, it goes straight into savings.

15. are you a silent laugher or a loud laugher? what makes you laugh the hardest?
a mix of both, i think. ava's silly shenanigans and of course, my husband always make me laugh....& the cosby show. i know, it's weird, but it always makes me laugh.

16. where is your favorite place to shop?
target & forever 21. {why, oh why don't we have an H&M people?!} also love going to antique malls and flea markets when i can get the chance!
love to dream at anthropologie...i am hoping when i shrink a bit, bo might take me there and buy me something pretty.....
okay, i lurve shopping and i love, love, love clothes...it's a problem....

17. what's one thing you would do more often if you had more time?
exercise. i love to exercise and it is so hard for me to find time to do it...i should probobly be doing it now instead of sitting my booty in this chair! ha!

18. are you a big spender or frugal?
i take after my mother...i l.o.v.e. to spend. i try to find good deals and my husband has taught me a lot about saving money. thank goodness!

19. who is your favorite character of all time?
probobly dorothy from the wizard of oz. i was obsessed with that movie growing up {living in kansas probobly had something to do with that}. i have loved watching it with ava, she loves it! she is going to be dorothy for halloween this year, i am so excited! trying to decide if hollis should be a munchkin or the lion....i have the cutest huge lollipop...he could be one of the lollipop gill munchkins....decisions, decisions.

20. would you want to be famous?
nope...i really do love the simple life & wouldn't change a thing.
